DLC Profiles, Inc. is an educational and learning resource
focused on supporting your learning process
and
ADVANCING THE POWER OF CUMULATIVE EXPERIENCE!
Yes, to help traders learn about us, we host complimentary, periodic webinars focused on:
The schedule, for these presentations, is posted in our Profile Bulletin and on our web site.
Who DLC Profiles is, our goals and objectives for our customers and clients, our trading philosophy, an overview of the Cognitive Trading Process concept.

How the Market Profile helps traders observe completed and developing market structure based on the synthesis of time, price and volume.

How the Market Profile collects, records, organizes, and displays market-generated information, consistent with the ways our minds (pattern seeking machines) interpret information.
Do you do any type of ‘introductory' presentation for people wanting to learn more about you, DLC Profiles, your trading philosophy, and your services?
Do you provide specific order entry and exit recommendations?
No. Entering and exiting the market is the result of one’s personal timeframe, personal interpretation of market-generated information, the market’s current activity, and current market participant behavior.
We do not teach the Market Profile – The focus of our work, the Cognitive Trading Process, is about the interpretation and application of the information organized and displayed via the Market Profile.

Public seminars, to be priced attractively, traditionally dictate large audiences to be profitable.  Understanding the Cognitive Trading Process and incorporating its key principles takes time and is best assimilated in structured, small groups where the learning environment is interactive and supported by immediate self-study and practice.

Our commitment is to truly ‘make a difference’ by focusing our resources on those traders and investors committed to increasing their understanding and skills in interpreting and applying auction-generated information to entering, managing, and exiting positions.
Three reasons:
With Jim Dalton being acknowledged as the premiere teacher of the Market Profile - why don’t you do public seminars for people wanting to learn to trade the Market Profile?
With all of the technology available to deliver courses and programs online, why do you only offer your Seminars and Intensives ‘live’?
Learning to trade is an extremely personal endeavor and there is no substitute, as far as we’re
concerned, for in-person interaction in dealing with complex principles and concepts.

The quality of interaction between ourselves and our clients, is something that can only be experienced in a ‘live’ environment. Live Seminars and Intensives enable us to better understand our clients, their history, and most importantly, better address each individual’s unique needs.
Once foundational relationships have been established, we use webinars and online conferencing to support our client’s cumulative experience.
What is the profile of your ideal client, or what type of trader and investor best benefits from your processes, programs, and services?
Our ideal client is a process-oriented trader who understands that the journey to expert trader in-cludes market understanding, self-understanding, and cumulative experience.

Acknowledging that our (DLC Profiles) potential market is very small due to the requirements of learning and advancing one’s skills in the application of the Cognitive Trading Process, we know, from years of experience that the traders and investors who benefit most from what we offer are those who:
There is no concrete answer to this question, because each individual trader brings with them unique experience and innate abilities, and, most importantly, the personal commitment they are willing to make.

Suggested curriculum:
One of your clients, told me to read your books.  I bought them; I’ve read one and I just started the second one - Question -  what would you suggest as an overall curriculum?
How do I determine if what you’re offering is right for me?
Yes.  New traders will initially invest more time focused on the study of market understanding and gaining experience through deliberate practice. Experienced traders, on the other hand, may find unlearning of previous concepts and learning new principles takes as much time, if not more, to gain a solid understanding of the Cognitive Trading Process.

Both new and experienced traders will face issues related to self-understanding.
